We would like to share an important leadership update within Svašek Hydraulics.

After a rewarding and intensive period as Deputy Director, and most recently as Department Head, Bas van Leeuwen has decided to step out of his management role. Over the past years, Bas has played a key role in guiding the team through a period of significant change, and we are grateful for his leadership, commitment, and the strong foundation he helped build.

Bas will continue his journey at Svašek Hydraulics as senior advisor focused on morphology and hydrodynamics, as this better reflects his passion.

At the same time, we are excited to announce that as of February 1st, Floris de Wit has stepped into the role of Department Head of Svašek Hydraulics. Floris brings strong technical expertise and leadership experience. We have full confidence in him as he takes on this next step.

Floris will combine his department head role with ongoing involvement in wave-related projects.

We would like to thank Bas for his contributions in his leadership role and congratulate Floris on his new position. We wish them both every success and enjoyment in the next phase of their work at Svašek Hydraulics.
