The Wadden Sea \/ Texelstroom crossing of the double 50 kV connection is realised by 2 cables, each approximately 7,500 metres long without joints. The cables were buried in the sea bed with a coverage up to 8 metres by direct trenching (jetting) to meet expected morphological developments. The spacing of the cables was 100 metres.\r\n\r\nSva\u0161ek Hydraulics has executed a route selection study, a bathymetric survey, a morphological study, a burial depth study and formulated a prediction of future developments.
