Merijn holds a master\u2019s degree in Earth Surface and Water from Utrecht University. During his final year, he excelled in two dune erosion projects: his final thesis on the effects of storm sequences on the sandy Dutch coastal protection and an internship modeling dune erosion at Oost Ameland using XBeach<\/a>.<\/p>\n With this solid basis, Merijn is well-prepared to contribute to our dune projects at Maasvlakte, Schiermonnikoog, and beyond.
